Prior to entering private practice, Daphne served for 12 years as Vice-President and General Counsel of Giorgio Beverly Hills, Inc., leading marketer of the Giorgio Beverly Hills line of luxury fragrance, skincare products and fashion accessories; responsible for worldwide legal affairs. Daphne previously held the positions of regulatory counsel for Max Factor & Co., Inc. in the cosmetics and skincare industry, Hoffmann La Roche, Inc. in the field of nuclear medicine and Becton Dickinson & Co. in the area of medical devices. Daphne also served a Judicial Clerkship to the Hon. Paul Huot, Bergen County District Court of the State of New Jersey; followed by private practice in New Jersey, which included an appointment as Condemnation Commissioner.

Daphne Sheridan Bass is a Barrister with the Judge Paul R. Michel Intellectual Property American Inn of Court and active member of the California State Bar Association, Intellectual Property Section, the Interna- tional Trademark Association, the Los Angeles Chapter of the Federal Bar Association, and was past presi- dent of the Santa Monica Bar Association. Daphne is a graduate of New York’s prestigious High School of Performing Arts (Dance). She holds a B. A. from Fairleigh Dickinson University - Dean’s List; Honors List and a J.D. from the University of Baltimore School of Law where she was a recipient of the School of Law’s Merit Award. Daphne is admitted to the State Bars of Maryland, New Jersey, California and the Central District in California.
